Bare Knuckle Bourbon Whiskey is easy-drinking, balanced, and great for sipping neat.  The nose brings forth oaky vanilla, nutmeg, and toasty notes. Sweet flavors of corn, popcorn, peanut brittle, and butterscotch on the palette are a testimony to its 70% corn mash bill, rounded out with 20% wheat and 10% malted barley, all from Virginia farmers. Before we bottle our craft whiskeys, we typically proof them down to 90 proof, or 45% ABV. However, we leave this single barrel whiskey at the proof it came out of the barrel at; this typically is in the 120-125 range, or about 60% ABV. You can sip it neat, use it in cocktails, or add an ice cube depending on your preferences.
